Functional lab offerings.
-
DUTCH Hormone Test.
The DUTCH Test provides a complete picture of hormone levels across basic hormones, free cortisol and metabolites, estrogen metabolites, androgen metabolites, melatonin, and more to help solve complex questions around imbalance and disruption.
-
GI-MAP.
Provides a detailed look at gut health, identifying imbalances in bacteria, parasites, yeast, and digestive function, as well as immune markers. This is a really great indicator of immune dysfunction and internal stressors that could be disrupting hormones, digestion, and more.
-
Metabolic Wellness Profile.
Evaluates liver and detoxification function, along with digestion and oxidative stress (aging/cell function). Gives us insight into how the enterohepatic portal is functioning (e.g. the process in which the liver processes and detoxifies toxins before they move into the body). When there's dysfunction here, it can point to an overburden of toxins, stagnant liver function, issues with detox pathways, and can be a cause of hormone dysfunction. It also looks at oxidative stress, which is essentially free radical damage/the health of your cells. Lastly, this lab gives us insight into protein digestion and absorption, and amino acid imbalances.
-
Mucosal Barrier Assessment.
Measures gut barrier integrity (leaky gut), as well the histamine response (shows if there's inflammation). We look at 3 markers here to identify gut barrier health: Zonulin, Histamine, and Diamine Oxidase (DAO).
-
Stress & Hormone Panel.
Measures key sex and stress hormones (Cortisol, DHEA, Estrogen, Progesterone, & Testosterone), along with immune markers (SIgA and Melatonin). This provides intel on the “adaptive reserve” and steroid hormone balance, gives clues about our circadian rhythm/sleep dysfunction, sex hormone balance, and stress resilience.
-
MRT Food Sensitivities.
Tests for 176 different potential food sensitivities (attached sample results for reference). This allows us to remove the sensitivities during the 90 day protocol, slowly reintroducing them after the 90 days. It's hard to heal when you're continually feeding your body things that stress it out/create inflammation.
